Dodgers: Dylan Floro Present With His 2020 World Series Ring
The Dodgers had some key players during their 2020 World Series run. Guys that aren’t exactly big names stepped up and came through in huge spots during the postseason. Dylan Floro is certainly one of those guys that possibly changed the outcome of a series.
Floro punched out Randy Arrozarena in game 6 with 2 runners on and the Dodgers down a run. Los Angeles would go on to clinch the series in that game, taking down the Rays 3-1. That strikeout might not be remembered decades from now, but it was huge.
On Friday night, Dylan Floro got his World Series ring. The Miami Marlins reliever was presented with the bling ahead of their matchup in Los Angeles.

The Dodgers traded Floro to Miami this past February in exchange for Alex Vesia and another prospect. He’s had a great start to the year with the Marlins, posting a 1.02 ERA and striking out 16 batters through 17 innings.

The Dodgers added some more depth at the minor league level this week. They scooped up a few arms, but they also claimed infielder Travis Blanekhorn from the Minnesota Twins. Blankenhorn will provide them with some options in the infield should injuries continue to be an issue for them. He was added to the 40-man roster and took Dustin May’s spot.
