Dodgers Earn Top Spot in MLB Power Rankings
The Los Angeles Dodgers just do not quit. The club has earned the honors of the top team in baseball according to MLB.com’s power rankings.
The only battle bigger than Winterfell is the battle in our mentions over these rankings. https://t.co/BKBt8vLPDf

Honestly, the Dodgers are not the hottest team in baseball, the Tampa Bay Rays are. Still, this is a tremendous honor and it demonstrates just what kind of season the Dodgers are having to start 2019.
With Cody Bellinger (the world) leading the offense, the club has soared to the tune of a 19-11 (.633) record, good enough for the third best record in the league (the Rays are 18-9 (.667) and Twins are 16-9 (.640)). The club has the best record in the National League which is frankly all that matters at the moment.
The Dodgers hold a small margin over the Padres who are 2 games back in the NL West and the D’Backs who are 2.5 games behind.
With many Dodgers returning to health in the last couple of weeks and in the near future, there is no doubt that the Dodgers could find themselves in the top spot again, possibly multiple times.
We are watching a great team once again. Let’s hope there is a different end result in 2019 than the results in 2017 and 2018, though!
