Dodgers Enter Quarantine as the Playoffs Draw Closer

We are now less than a week away from the Dodgers starting their playoff journey towards the World Series. Los Angeles will wrap up their series with Oakland tonight before going into their final series against the Angels.

MLB has already made it clear that players will enter a bubble atmosphere for the playoffs. While the first round will be played at the ballparks of the higher seed, every round after will take place in designated areas. The American League is limited to Southern California while the National League heads to Texas. The World Series will ultimately be held in Texas, and we can only hope the Dodgers get to make it that far.

With less than a week to go, the Dodgers have entered their quarantine effective as of last night. Dave Roberts revealed during a press conference today that the team is separate from their families and are staying in a hotel for the duration of the season.

Roberts also went on to joke that he would have to have all of his wine shipped to him now that he’s locked down. The Dodgers will wrap up this season against the Angels and play the first round of the playoffs away from everything. After that, the team has made it possible for their families to join them in Texas should they make it that far.
