Dodgers Fans React to Corey Seager Hitting 9th Inning, Game-Tying Home Run in World Series

Corey Seager just hit a game-tying home run in the 9th inning of the World Series. A few years ago, that would have had Dodger fans salivating.

The former World Series MVP for LA is now in Texas, and his Rangers trailed the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-3 entering the bottom of the 9th inning.

With a runner on first base and one out, Seager came up to the plate, and didn’t last very long.

The first pitch he saw was deposited over the right field wall, and just like that, Globe Life Field was rocking.

Globe Life Field, of course, was the location of the 2020 World Series, so Seager had his fair share of moments there, too. But this time around, he was doing it for Texas, and Dodger fans could only sit back and watch as he helped another team turn around Game 1 of the World Series.

Dodger fans had all the reactions on social media:

All I’m going to say is the Dodgers definitely could have used a swing like that at some point in the NLDS against Arizona.

  1. Without Seager’s HR in the bottom of the ninth there wouldn’t have been a Garcia game winner in the eleventh….. how bout that!
