Dodgers Fans React to James Outman’s Home Run in First MLB At-Bat

Just two days, 25-year-old James Outman received the call that he would be getting the call up to the big club and joining the active roster with the Dodgers. On Sunday, the starting right fielder homered in his first at-bat in his major league debut against the Colorado Rockies in the third inning.

His 2-run shot to right-center field set the tone for what fans can only hope to expect from Outman who was selected in the 7th round of the 2018 Draft.

Fans took to social media to share their excitement for the rookie’s major league debut:

After his homer in the third inning, Outman knocked in his second major league hit with a single up the right field which allowed him to score for the second time today. He then collected his third hit in the major leagues and brought in Gavin Lux on a double in the top of the eighth.

After four at bats, the rookie’s major league debut includes 3 hits, 2 runs scored, 1 homer, and 3 RBI. Welcome to the Show James Outman.
