Dodgers Free Agent Signs MiLB Deal With AL East Squad
Los Angeles Dodgers free agent infielder Kolten Wong has signed a minor league deal with the Baltimore Orioles. MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand was first to report the news Wednesday:
Wong, 33, finished the 2023 season with the Dodgers after signing a minor league deal with L.A. in August.
Wong appeared in 20 games with the Dodgers in the regular season, slashing .300/.353/.500 with two home runs and eight runs batted in.
His impressive play even earned him a spot on the postseason roster, where he went 0-for-3 with a walk in the NLDS.
The 11-year veteran will now head to Baltimore to continue his MLB career.
The two-time Gold Glove award winner has spent a majority of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals, but has also played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Seattle Mariners and Dodgers.
Wong has a career slash line of .256/.330/.390 with 86 home runs and 405 runs batted in.
