Dave Roberts Reveals When Shohei Ohtani Will Play Next Cactus League Game for Dodgers

Shohei Ohtani put on a show on Tuesday in his Cactus League debut for the Dodgers.

After striking out and grounding into a double play in his first two at-bats, he saved his best for last.

Ohtani hit a 3-2 pitch to the opposite field, and the high fly ball just kept carrying.

The ball ended up going 377 feet, and got over the left field wall for a two-run home run.

Ohtani then got his stuff and ran back to the clubhouse, where he stopped to speak to reporters to provide an update on how he was doing.

On Wednesday, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts provided an update on his $700 million man, and gave his schedule for the rest of the week.

Ohtani will take live batting practice on Thursday, before likely getting back into a Cactus League game on Friday.

Kiké Hernández Dodgers Cactus League Debut Set

Now that Ohtani has already made his debut — and Yoshinobu Yamamoto is making his debut on Wednesday — one of the final players Dodger fans can’t wait to see is the recently-signed Kiké Hernández.

Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait long to see him.

Roberts said on Wednesday that Hernández would be making his Cactus League debut on Friday for the Dodgers.

And in case you missed it, the Dodgers wasted no time adding a Kiké Hernández bobblehead to their promotional calendar.
