Dodgers Kiké Hernandez Talks Facial Hair, Kenley’s Ice Cream Habits, and 2020 Baseball

The Dodgers are at home like everyone else, and Kiké Hernandez is doing his best to stay locked in. The utility man took time to talks with SportsNet LA’s John Hartung about the recent mustache he has added and so much more.

Kenley’s Ice Cream Habits

It’s not a real Kiké Hernandez interview until he starts making fun of Dodgers teammates and that’s exactly how he kicked it off. Hartung brought up the fact that Kenley Jansen ate ice cream five days in a row during quarantined, and Kiké jumped all over it.

Kenley is saying he ate ice cream five days in a row during quarantine? That’s the excuse? I’ve seen him go a month, for thirty days in a row eating ice cream, before and after games. I think the quarantine excuse is a little weak to be honest.

It’s always love between the two, and you can’t help but laugh at him calling Kneley out on his eating habits there. The Dodgers fan favorite also talked about his mustache which…is glorious, to put it mildly. Apparently this might be a thing when the season starts up.

Hernandez also talked about the idea of quarantining to play, if that becomes the last option for the Dodgers and MLB to get going. According to him, it would be difficult, but he would be in.

Quarantine would be hard. I don’t have kids, but a lot of teammates have kids…If it’s up to me, the only way we play baseball, I’d be down…at the end of the day we’d be playing baseball, we’d be giving people someone to look forward to.

Just in case anyone was wondering, we would very much be down as well Kiké. Check out the video to see what the Dodgers infielder also has to say about his contract expiring this year and how the COVID-19 delay hurts him.
