Dodgers: LA Adds Former Chicago Cubs Scout Tom Myers
In fully thanksgiving week Dodgers news, the club has reportedly added former Chicago Cubs scout Tom Myers to the front office. Myers joins LA as an area scout, according to senior writer for The Athletic PJ Mooney.
Tom Myers, a longtime scout for the Cubs in Southern California, left the organization to join the Dodgers. Myers, who once managed Kyle Hendricks in the Cape Cod League, will be an area scout for the Dodgers with some cross-checking duties and crossover into player development.

Despite losing front office members to other clubs in each of the last few seasons, the Dodgers have remained at the top of the league in scouting and drafting. Myers adds another piece to the puzzle for scouting director Billy Gasparino.
