Player of the Day – Brandon Dixon
The Dodgers’ third rounder from a year ago, Dixon struggled in his debut and switched positions from third base to second base this spring. He hasn’t gotten off to the hottest start, but in the bottom of the 12th in last night’s game, with the game tied 2-2, Brandon crushed a ball to left field to send the Quakes home winners. It’s too early to write him off as a bust, but hopefully this sparks something in the young infielder that allows him to progress at the plate.
