Dodgers News And Rumors: Corey Seager’s Humility Shines
Los Angeles Dodgers’ prospect Corey Seager is an up-and-coming star in the eyes of many within the organization. The Dodgers are so confident in him, general manager Ned Colletti refused to include Seager in trade possibilities that arguably could have put John Lester or David Price in a Dodgers uniform.
Seager, brother of Seattle Marniers’ Kyle Seager, was recently promoted to Double-A Chattanooga after spending much of the season in Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.
The 18th overall selection in the 2012 draft took his promotion humbly, leaving hand-written letters to his teammates which relayed his thanks and best wishes.
Seager has continued to hit well with the Lookouts through his first nine games at the Double-A level.
