Dodgers News And Rumors: Game Times Set For Opening Series In Sydney
The Dodgers are set to travel to Sydney, Australia, to take on their division rival Arizona Diamondbacks for the Opening Series on March 22 and 23. With A.J. Ellis and Patrick Corbin Down Under, the times for the games were released for the two-game set.
Game 1 is a 7:15 p.m. local time in Sydney on March 22, meaning that it’ll be a 10:15 p.m. start time in Los Angeles on March 21. Game 2 is a local start time of 1:15 p.m. on March 23, or a 4:15 p.m. start in LA on March 22. The games are the MLB’s way of expanding into uncharted territories and expanding the brand name.
The Dodgers are set to take on the Diamondbacks before coming back to Los Angeles for three exhibition games and then resuming regular season play in San Diego. The team will also begin Spring Training a few weeks earlier due to their travel plans.
