Dodgers News: Clayton Kershaw Not Pitching Tuesday in Scheduled Rehab Start for Triple-A
Los Angeles Dodgers future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw was scheduled to pitch on Tuesday in a rehab start at Triple-A Oklahoma City.
However, the Comets announced that due to the weather forecast, Kershaw will not be pitching any longer. The game, however, is still on as scheduled to begin at 7:05 p.m. local time in OKC.

It remains to be seen when and where Kershaw will pitch next, and how this affects his progression. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts should have an update when he addresses the media before Tuesday night’s Dodgers game.
Kershaw was supposed to pitch around five innings and 75 pitches on Tuesday night, taking another big step in his return to the mound.
Kershaw is currently on the 60-day injured list after undergoing offseason toe and knee surgeries, and isn’t eligible to return until May 17. Thus, he could make three or four more rehab starts before returning to Los Angeles in mid-to-late May.
Kershaw has made two rehab starts this year — one at Double-A and one at Triple-A — allowing one earned run across six innings of work with six strikeouts. The Dodgers will now decide when and where his third start will be as he continues to inch closer to a return to the big leagues.

When Ohtani is ready to pitch, they will have 14 players who are allowed to pitch. So they should not delay. That is one of the benefits of having Ohtani; it is like having a 27 man roster, not a 26 man roster. This is a big advantage over the other 29 clubs. So, no further delays on Ohtani pitching. Get him ready to go. Even one start per week would be very helpful. One less bullpen game per week. Time for him to earn his $2 million per year.
