Dodgers News: Grant Dayton Returns, Rich Hill Starts Rehab
After spending nearly two weeks on the 10-day disabled list, Grant Dayton will return to the Dodgers on Saturday night against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Reliever Josh Fields has been optioned to make room for Grant Dayton on the Dodgers 25-man roster.
Today, the #Dodgers reinstated Grant Dayton from the 10-day DL and optioned Josh Fields to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Dayton is yet to allow a run this year in his seven appearances in which he has tossed 6 1/3 innings. He will be the Dodgers second left-handed pitcher coming out of the bullpen, along with Luis Avilan.
The Dodgers also announced today that Rich Hill will be making a rehab appearance at the Dodgers Single-A affiliate, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.
David Vassegh of AM570 LA Sports received word from Dave Roberts on the plan for Rich Hill.

It was originally reported that Rich Hill could make his way to the bullpen to build up a resistance to the blister, but he will be entering straight back in the Dodgers rotation.
