Dodgers News: Justin Turner Held Out of Tuesday’s Lineup
Justin Turner will miss Tuesday night’s 2-game series opener against the Diamondbacks. The third basemen missed a short amount of time in early June due to a hamstring injury, which was also a minor setback.
Justin Turner doesn't start tonight after a day off. He was hit by a pitch on his left arm while pinch-hitting on Sunday. Rios starts at 3B.

Recent call-up and rookie Edwin Rios will take over at the hot corner for the former All-Star.
Turner x-rays on elbow and wrist were negative. Wrist was hit two months ago. Available to play tonight.

Don’t look too much into Turner’s absence tonight. The rest he will get now will pay off in the second half, which is when the Dodgers will need him the most.
Turner’s 2019 campaign has been nothing short of spectacular, slashing .301/.386/.452. Although he did not make the All-Star team, Turner will receive some extra time off during the All-Star Break.
