The Los Angeles Dodgers have a happy flight to Colorado after winning the series vs. the Atlanta Braves. The team now prepares for a 3-game series vs. the Rockies.

Clayton Kershaw had an interesting performance vs. the Braves. Despite giving up 10 hits, he notched 10 strikeouts. There were some key takeaways from this game.

That wasn’t the only surprising stat Kershaw put up. He surprised everyone when he threw a 46-mph pitch. Yes, 46-mph.

It was something Kershaw had never done in his career.

That's the slowest pitch Clayton Kershaw has ever thrown, by the way. Slowest prior to that was a 47.86 MPH pitch last year on an IBB.

Still, Kershaw got the win for the Dodgers and on this day it was especially necessary to do so. Once on the plane the Dodgers celebrated Joc Pederson’s 24th birthday.
