Dodgers News: Puig, Urias Watch Lakers Defeat Pelicans
Last night, outfielder Yasiel Puig and stud prospect Julio Urias were in attendance at the STAPLES Center as the Los Angeles Lakers knocked off the New Orleans Pelicans, 95-91.
Puig and Urias represent just two pieces of the Dodgers’ present and future, and it should come as no surprise to see the Dodgers and Lakers linked together even if for one night.

In a city that loves its superstars, it’s no surprise that the superstars love each other. Kobe Bryant took time out before the start of the game to hang out with Puig:

As for Urias, he found an opportunity to get on the air with the TWC Deportes crew – Francisco Pinto and Adrian Garcia Marquez – during the game:

No matter what, it’s always fantastic to see the younger players on the team get acclimated to the bright lights of Los Angeles. Puig has been in the spotlight for several years already, but this is a whole new ballgame for Urias. It was nice to see them together, see them make the rounds, and be embraced by the STAPLES Center crowd.
