Dodgers News: RHP Rubby De La Rosa Agrees to Deal to Return to LA

The Los Angeles Dodgers have made an addition to their pitching roster, signing right-handed pitcher Rubby De La Rosa to a minor-league deal. De La Rosa, who has had stints with multiple teams including the Boston Red Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks, can bring a wealth of experience and power to Triple-A Oklahoma.

De La Rosa was originally signed by the Dodgers as an amateur free agent in 2007 and made his Major League debut with the team in 2011. He has since played for several teams, but his time with the Red Sox and Diamondbacks was particularly noteworthy. In 2015, De La Rosa had a strong season with the Diamondbacks, posting a 4.67 ERA in 29 games.

Now, the righty is back with the Dodgers and is eager to make an impact. With his experience, De La Rosa is hoping to get back into the swing of things. He has struggled with consistency and injury issues, causing him to bounce around from team to team. Over the past four seasons, he has been pitching for the Yomiuri Giants since 2019, posting a 2.53 ERA in 124.1 innings.

As he returns to Los Angeles, De La Rosa is looking to stay healthy and find his form to remain productive on the team.
