Dodgers News: Rich Hill to Start vs. Giants, Julio Urias to Start Sunday vs. Reds
The Los Angeles are closing out their road trip vs. the Cincinnati Reds before coming home to face the San Francisco Giants. It’s a close race in the NL West and the Dodgers are hoping to stay afloat while Clayton Kershaw makes his way back to the mound.
The Dodgers announced they planned to start Julio Urias on Sunday vs. the Reds. Manager Dave Roberts added they plan to have Kenta Maeda start on either Monday or Tuesday vs. the Giants.
Julio Urias will start Sunday.

The Dodgers will come home on Tuesday for a 3-game series vs. the Giants. Pitcher Rich Hill is expected to start despite having setbacks in the past. In a simulated game played on Thursday, Hill threw 75 pitches that gave Dave Roberts hope for the future.

Clayton Kershaw also got some work in on Thursday, throwing 20-25 pitches. There is no official word yet on when exactly Kershaw will make his grand return, but of course fans are hoping soon, and, Roberts says Kershaw is in “good spirits”.
