Dodgers News: Vin Scully Releasing NFTs to Celebrate His 3 Championship Years

Maybe you’re like me and you still don’t know what the heck an NFT even is at this point and you’re too afraid to ask. If that’s you, please look away. But for the Dodgers fans that are all in on the electronic art, listen up!

Legendary Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully in joining the NFT game and selling his own, announced earlier today. The 3 NFT’s were officially placed on sale this morning and fans can own their own piece of Vin Scully treasure by purchasing here

Two of the piece of electronic art will feature Scully yelling stories of 2 great Dodgers moments. One if the iconic Kirk Gibson homerun of the 1988 World Series and the other is Sandy Amoros’ catch in Game 7 of the 1955 series.

The other NFT will be one-of-a-kind and will be released via auction. That one has Scully narrating his own story of getting into broadcasting. That NFT will also come with an autographed ball among other Dodgers goodies.

And for those asking, yes, Vin had to learn via his manager of his digital team what an NFT was, according to the LA Times. He is very much one of us.

  1. I had the great pleasure of bumping into Vin Scully twice in LA. Once in the Gladstone’s parking lot, the other time walking along San Vicente. Both times he spoke to me first (a total stranger!), greeted me, and gave me a smile. He is literally the nicest guy ever! I hope his NFTs sell for A LOT.
