Dodgers News: Walker and McKenzie Buehler Make Exciting Announcement on Instagram
Walker Buehler and his wife, McKenzie, took to Instagram to make a very exciting announcement on Wednesday. They announced that they’re expecting their first child in January of 2024.
They shared a slideshow of pictures of the two of them at the beach with the ultrasound pictures of the baby.
First of all, this is very exciting news for Walker and McKenzie. Second of all, Walker will finally be able to join the club of Dodger dads, many of which had their babies just a few months ago. Hopefully the Buehlers’ baby is okay with being a little younger than all of his friends.
As for Buehler, he’s continuing to rehab from his Tommy John surgery. He told the SNLA broadcast on Tuesday that he’s already throwing around 94 mph, which is a great sign at this stage in his recovery.
Buehler set a September target date for himself, but Dodgers manager Dave Roberts wasn’t so sure. Still, Buehler is determined to return this year and do so as a starting pitcher, so we’ll see if he’s able to make that wish a reality.
But for now, Buehler doesn’t have to worry about any of that, as he should just enjoy this special and exciting announcement with his wife. Congrats to the Buehlers!
