Dodgers News: Yu Darvish Activated for Final Game of the Series
Tonight is the final game of the Padres vs. Dodgers series and it looks like Yu Darvish will be the starting pitcher tonight for the Padres. The right-handed pitcher has been out since mid-August with lower back tightness but was activated just in time to face off against the Dodgers. All eyes across MLB will be on this one with Max Scherzer and Darvish going.

Before the Padres ace was placed on the injured list out, he was having a pretty good season with a 3.70 ERA throughout 23 games started. It will be interesting to see what happens tonight, but it should not worry any Dodgers fans, especially with Mookie Betts activated and is back in the lineup tonight.
Darvish has also been incredibly effective against the Dodgers in 2021. Through 3 games against Los Angeles, Darvish has pitched to a 1.35 ERA across 20 innings of work. He has also allowed just 3 runs on 7 hits while striking out 29 Los Angeles hitters.

With that said, let’s just hope the outcome of tonight’s game goes smooth for the Dodgers and everyone can get to bed on time.
