Dodgers Notes: Another Major Roster Move Incoming, Blake Snell Shut Down, Hyeseong Kim Update

The Los Angeles Dodgers have lost three games in a row as they dropped a second contest to the Washington Nationals, 8-2, on Tuesday.

There was even more roster movement Tuesday as a pitcher was called up to start in place of Blake Snell, and another pitcher was sent back down to Triple-A. The southpaw who started Tuesday allowed eight hits and eight earned runs over five innings. Another roster move is coming, as the team will call up Landon Knack to start Wednesday’s game.

Speaking of Snell, he is unfortunately being shut down from any kind of throwing this week. The two-time Cy Young award winner has been dealing with shoulder discomfort for a few weeks now, but no other medical interventions are expected to be needed.

Finally, Hyeseong Kim has been dazzling the diamond over in Triple-A Oklahoma City. The infielder is even trying his hand in center field, a position the Dodgers currently lack depth in.
