Dodgers Notes: LA Makes Decision on Hyeseong Kim, All-Star Pitcher to IL, Blake Snell Spurned by Giants
The Los Angeles Dodgers have finally made a decision on the roster status of Hyeseong Kim. It is no secret that the four-time Gold Glove award winner in the KBO needed time to adjust to Major League Baseball, and L.A. has decided where he’ll start the 2025 season.
The Dodgers will also be without another key player to open up the season in Japan, but this time it is due to injury. An All-Star right-hander injured his back lifting weights and will start the season on the injured list.
Finally, in more positive news, the team’s two-time Cy Young award winner acquired this offseason revealed his former team — the San Francisco Giants — didn’t offer him a contract or even reach out to him. In a move that clearly worked out for L.A., fans should hope that the bitter rival up north regrets their lack of contract offer to the All-Star.
