Dodgers Notes: Mookie Betts Health Update, Huge Shohei Ohtani Pitching Development, Ex-LA Pitcher Joins Yankees

The Los Angeles Dodgers are once again without superstar Mookie Betts due to his stomach illness that has sidelined him since the second to last game of Cactus League play. Manager Dave Roberts provided a major update on the health of the 2018 American League MVP.

The skipper also revealed an update on when reigning National League MVP Shohei Ohtani will resume his process of coming back to the pitcher’s mound. The two-way star had his pitching work halted ahead of the team’s trip to Japan to open up the 2025 MLB season.

Finally, a former Dodgers pitcher has joined the World Series runner-up New York Yankees. After opting out of a deal with the Toronto Blue Jays, he has not only signed with New York, but will make the Opening Day roster.
