Dodgers Notes: New York Radio Host Slams LA, Teoscar Hernández Prediction, Kiké Hernández Legendary Quote

Sunday was full of hard-hitting Los Angeles Dodgers news that fans love to read about. If you missed out on anything, now is your chance to catch up.

The dropped ball by New York Yankees star Aaron Judge in Game 5 of the World Series was sold for $43,510 after the Los Angeles Dodgers auctioned it off for charity. While many Yankees fans wanted to move on from the incident, the auction angered some, with WFAN Sports Radio host Evan Roberts criticizing the Dodgers for the decision.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are still in negotiations with outfielder Teoscar Hernández over a potential contract, but baseball insiders are speculating about other possible destinations. In a recent Bleacher Report column by Kerry Miller, Hernández is predicted to sign with this National League Central team on a three-year, $66 million deal.

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts is known as a player’s manager, earning great respect from his team. Before Game 1 of the World Series against the New York Yankees, Kiké Hernández shared a powerful, memorable moment with Roberts that Hernández will carry with him for the rest of his life.

  1. Are you kidding me? The Dodgers are willing to lose Teoscar Hernandez over
a 3 year $66 million offer to play elsewhere? That’s chump change compared to the $600 million offered to Soto.
What is Friedman thinking? Unless he has something else up his sleeve, how are the Dodgers going to replace Teoscar’s productivity and clubhouse presence?
    Amazing!

  2. What are the Dodgers thinking? Would they, actually let Teoscar Hernandez leave over 3 years and $66 million? To the Dodgers, that’s chump change. Unless Friedman has something else up his sleeve, who are they going to get that will be as productive and at the same time be a clubhouse presence? We know they have $600 million available after Soto said no to the Dodgers offer. For that kind of money, not only can they resign Teoscar, they can sign Corbin Burnes, Clayton Kershaw, Walker Buhler, Tanner Scott, and maybe Kike Hernandez. WOW!!

    1. If the Dodgers haven’t signed Teo by now, they won’t sign him. What a tragedy! They should have given him what he wanted BEFORE the Soto deal. They f’uped.

  3. If the Dodgers lose Teo, they will be a worse team than last year. Conforto is no Teo, so that tradeoff is a loss. They improved their pitching with Snell, but the starting lineup at the beginning of last year was just as good as it will be this year – pitchers get injured every day. Even if we re-sign Kike, this team has taken a step backwards if they let Teo leave.

  4. I’m aghast at the prospect of losing Teo; and at a loss as to why FO would let him get away. I was very surprised when they didn’t lock him up the day after Game 5 WS.
C’mon guys, listen to Doc! (and all of us freaked out civilians!)
