Dodgers Promote Michael Busch to Triple-A
The Dodgers have a pretty solid lineup right now, but it’s always exciting to look at the future. In recent years, we’ve been able to watch a few big names come out of the minor leagues and make a big difference on the big league squad.
One guy to keep an eye on over the next few seasons is Michael Busch. A first-round pick in 2019, Busch has shot up through the Dodgers farm system. His excellent command of the strike zone and ability to put the bat on the ball, Busch jumped up to the team’s number 3 prospect spot.
This week, Busch got the promotion to Triple-A. The Dodgers prospect was crushing the ball with Tulsa, compiling a .306/.445/.667 slash line. He had homered 11 times in 31 games and drove in 29 runs. That offensive outburst earned him the promotion just a handful of games into the season.

Busch could make a big difference for the Dodgers in the very near future. He profiles much like Max Muncy, though scouts believe him to be a more pure hitter. They also like hi at first base but can play second as well, which is where he will likely land when he comes up.
