Dodgers Recall Pitcher Zac Rosscup; Option Gonsolin and Ferguson
The Dodgers have recalled left-handed reliever Zac Rosscup in addition to corner infielder Edwin Rios and have sent down both right-handed starter Tony Gonsolin and left-handed reliever Caleb Ferguson.
The Dodgers today recalled IF Edwin Ríos and selected the contract of LHP Zac Rosscup. To make room on the 25-man roster, the Dodgers optioned pitchers Tony Gonsolin and Caleb Ferguson, while transferring A.J. Pollock to the 60-day injured list to make room on the 40-man roster.

The Dodgers also transferred AJ Pollock to the 60-day IL which does not dramatically affect his timeline.
Rosscup, was signed by the Dodgers only a few weeks ago was a member of the team as recently as 2018. He has thrown 6 innings for Oklahoma City, allowing 6 earned runs. He also tossed 15 innings at the major league level for both the Seattle Mariners and Toronto Blue Jays this season.
Rios, 25, who will be making his first appearance in Major League Baseball, has underwhelmed this season in Oklahoma City, putting together just a .249/.308/.475 slash line.
Gonsolin, a top prospect in the Dodgers system, had a rocky debut, tossing 4 innings while allowing 4 earned runs against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Ferguson has had quite a rough go of things so far this year for the big club, posting a 5.48 ERA in 23 innings.
