Dodgers Reportedly Showing Interest in Cole Hamels, Should LA Sign the Former Star Pitcher?
Dodgers President of Baseball Operations, Andrew Friedman appears to already be hard at work trying to find the Dodgers some much-needed starting pitching help, as it was reported that LA is going to be in attendance at Cole Hamels’ throwing showcase next week.
We discuss the possibility of the Dodgers and if the team is really serious about adding the 4x All-Star to the starting rotation. Plus, how much does and age 37 Cole Hamels have left in the tank?

Hamels hasn’t pitched in 2021 and missed most the 2020 season dealing with a myriad of injuries. However, the left-hander was once one of the best starters in the league pitching to a 3.29 ERA in 1916.1 innings from 2010-2018 with the Phillies, Rangers, and Cubs.
He’s absolutely not the same guy he was when he was named the World Series MVP in 2008. But the good thing with the Dodgers is he doesn’t have to be. No team in the league can offer a better chance to win a World Series… if Andrew Friedman wants Cole Hamels, it’s reasonable to think that he gets him.

I have to really think about it. I have to do my own research first….but I don’t think so
I believe Freidman can do a bit better than a 37 year old LHP who has seen his better days.
Hopefully Hamels would only be a fill in for let’s say Gonsales or Alexander as a Bull Pen lefty if anything. Hamels would get destroyed the 2nd time around and force the Dodgers into Bull Pen games ,and they already have plenty of those guys.
I know…let’s bring Nolan Rysn back out of retirement. I think you’re feeling me here.I still like Max as a possibility…difficult to procure but it makes more sense than a Longshot at best Hamels.
Misspelled Ryan.Sorry.I was laughing a bit much when texting.
