Dodgers Rookie Miguel Vargas Puts in Work on Defense with Miguel Rojas

The Miggys are linking up to produce optimal outcomes. The video was posted by one particular coach who worked closely with Vargas in conducting a recent camp.

Vargas is utilizing his resources, knowing that Rojas is well-experienced and a strong player defensively. Although Rojas is expected to come on to the Dodgers as a utility player, he did excel in Miami as their starting shortstop.

Beyond his impact on the field, Rojas is showing that he can lead the team by guiding younger players to succeed.

At 23 years old, Vargas has lots of room to develop and is clearly dedicated to getting ahead of the game by putting in the necessary work.

Last season, Vargas made his MLB debut and played in 18 games. With Triple-A Oklahoma City he batted .304/.402/.511 with 17 home runs, 82 RBI, 99 runs scored, and 16 stolen bases over 112 games in 2022.

As the Dodgers turn to a youth movement this upcoming season, Vargas is expected to make a significant impact. Rookies can always learn a thing or two from a vet!
