The new guy put in work at Camelback Ranch! Dodgers offseason acquisition Trevor Bauer has fans all over excited for a World Series repeat in 2021. Today marked the next step in his introduction to the team…

Several beat writers were on the scene and captured Bauer’s first live batting practice session in which he faced Cody Bellinger, Corey Seager, and Will Smith. Note: it featured plenty of grunts.

Notably, Cody was not cleared to swing yet and he comes back from offseason shoulder surgery, but he still stood in and tracked a few pitches.

Real but still fake games start in earnest this Sunday as the Dodgers travel to face the A’s at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Arizona. Dave Roberts named Mike Kickham as the “opening day” starter for the boys in blue.
