Dodgers Star Wars Day: May The 4th Be With You
May 4th marks Star Wars day across social media and pretty much the nation. Fans and MLB teams are getting in the spirit sending pictures and videos with hashtag #MayThe4thBeWithYou. Even the Tampa Bay Rays are getting in on the action as they face the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In the final game of the series the Rays will be giving out a special Star Wars themed giveaway.

The Dodgers are coming off a huge win defeating the Rays 10-5 on Tuesday, behind a strong performance by Dodgers outfielder Trayce Thompson.

Game time is set for 7:10 p.m. and fans who attend, and purchase a special event ticket, will receive a special Star Wars themed gift.

The Dodgers will host jedis and ewoks at the ballpark. Also, I’m sure Darth Vader will make an appearance. Vader even took to twitter to wish fans a happy May 4th.

Plus, after the game the Dodgers will have a special themed Star Wars Friday Night Fireworks show presented by Denny’s. This isn’t the first time the Dodgers have hosted this night, which has quickly turned into a fan favorite.
