Dodgers: Stripling Dominates Again in Win Over Giants
The Dodgers continued their hot streak vs. the Giants on Friday night, with a 3-2 victory.
The Pitching
Ross Stripling’s only flaw on a great performance was a 2-run Home Run that looked so unlikely to leave the park, even Charley Steiner didn’t think it had a chance. Bawce Stripling had a good night otherwise: 6 1/3 innings, 6K’s and no walks. Josh Fields came in and slammed the door for the rest of the 6th and the most of the 7th. Scott Alexander got a comebacker for the final out of the 8th. Kenley Jansen came into the 9th inning and got his 16th save. It was only fitting Kenley come in for the save on “Kenley Calrissian night.” (Anyone who accidentally got two of those bobbleheads is required to contact the writer of this article.)
The Offense
Matt Kemp continued with his red-hot bat. The Dodgers outfielder continues his all-star caliber season.

Enrique Hernandez and Yasiel Puig added RBI’s. Logan Forsythe’s bat appears to be waking up, he went 2 for 3 including a double that Charley Steiner convinced was going out. He missed a homer by mere inches.
Notes
The Dodgers will do their best not to look at Madison Bumgarner tomorrow night, while Alex Wood gets the bump for the Dodgers. Alex will look to reverse some rather ugly numbers of late, while the Dodgers look to beat up on Madison Bumgarner. Kiké Hernandez has very good numbers against Bumgarner. He’s likely to be in the lineup again Saturday.
