Dodgers: The 60 Greatest Moments in Dodger Stadium History
The Dodgers are celebrating the 60th anniversary of playing at their stadium this year. It’s wild to think that there have been 6 decades of baseball played at Dodger Stadium, and you cant help but reflect on some of the biggest moments to have taken place there.
During their home opener last night, Joe Davis and Orel Hershiser talked about the possibility of a Dodgers fan being in attendance at every single home opener since they opened their doors in 1962. And while we may not know if there is someone out there that has, we can certainly go over all of those big moments to come at the Ravine.
Rick Monday saving the flag in the outfield. Steve Finley’s walk-off grand slam to take the division. Juan Uribe’s NLDS homerun after the failed bunt attempt. Whatever might be your favorite moment in Dodgers history from the Ravine, there are plenty.
There really is nothing quite like it. Dodgers fans have long been flocking to the stadium and packing it out on daily basis during the season. Here’s to many many more memories made out at Chavez Ravine.
