Glasnow was seen shaking his leg out during the fourth inning. However, when trainers and manager Dave Roberts came out to check on him, he said he was fine.
In the fifth inning, though, Glasnow was pulled from the game after throwing one pitch. He appeared to be flexing his right leg or ankle.
Here’s a video of Glasnow before he left the game:
Glasnow was in the midst of a dominant start, pitching four scoreless innings while allowing just three hits and one walk with six strikeouts. Now the Dodgers will hope Glasnow’s injury isn’t too severe, as their rotation is already dealing with multiple injuries.
Blake Snell remains on the injured list without a concrete timetable to return. Tony Gonsolin is nearing a return, while Clayton Kershaw isn’t eligible to come off the 60-day injured list for another month. Shohei Ohtani remains months away from pitching for L.A.
As for Glasnow, he missed the final three months of last season due to an elbow injury. He had thrown a career-high 134 innings last year before the injury.
The Dodgers should provide an update on Glasnow soon, so stay tuned on dodgersnation.com.
