Dodgers Video: Justin Turner Mic’d Up for Batting Practice with Muncy, Smith, and More
You’re looking at a loose group of dudes when you watch the Dodgers play. They lead all of baseball in wins, winning percentage, and home runs among other things. And if they’re not at the top of the lists in batting and pitching categories, they’re not far off.
Surely you can look at the construction of the ballclub. Led by several long-time veterans and a nice blend of younger talent, things remain loose for Los Angeles. If you don’t believe that, you can watch this short clip from the Dodgers media team that followed a mic’d up Justin Turner around during batting practice at Dodger Stadium recently.

The video features Turner not only taking hacks in the cage, but also playfully harassing teammates Max Muncy and Will Smith, and offering encouragement to Cody Bellinger. JT also took the time to look at some of the famous people in the stands as cardboard cutouts.
During the COVID shutdown, there were talks about potentially micing up the players or coaches during the games. Of course, that quickly opens a world of potential issues and hot mic mishaps that could get people in trouble quickly online. However, this video makes me want it even more.
