Dodgers: Which Team Has Fans More Concerned in Short Series, Padres or Mets?

The Dodgers are getting some much needed rest, as they await the winner of the three-game Wild Card series between the San Diego Padres and New York Mets.

On the year, the Dodgers won all six series against their little brother in the NL West, finishing the year a dominant 14-5 against the Padres. Against the Mets, the Dodgers went 3-4, one of the few teams the Dodgers didn’t win the season series against in 2022.

So Dodger fans took to Twitter to give their thoughts on who they’d rather face in the five-game NLDS.

The results were pretty staggering.

With Jacob DeGrom and former Dodger Max Scherzer leading the way, 89.7% of Dodger fans are more concerned about the Mets than the Padres.

The Dodgers definitely owned the Padres in the regular season, but San Diego has been putting together a team that they think can compete with the Dodgers in a best-of-five series. But either way, fans didn’t seem too worried about the Padres, or really either team for that matter. Here were some of their takes:

Neither. Dodgers should be able to win. Only thing concerning about our Dodgers is if their bats will show. Tachycardia season begins next week.

Both are concerning. Playoffs are a different beast and, as seen in 2019, any team can be dangerous in a short series. Plus, if the Padres down deGrom and ol’ Dead Arm, then they’ll be in good form.
