How Did Clayton Kershaw Do in First Rehab Start at Triple-A OKC for Dodgers?
Los Angeles Dodgers future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw made his first of many rehab starts Wednesday at Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Kershaw, who’s not eligible to come off the 60-day injured list until May 17, looked sharp in his first real game action since last August.

The left-hander pitched three innings, allowing zero earned runs on two hits with zero walks. He had two strikeouts, and threw a total of 30 pitches, 22 of them for strikes.
He faced 10 batters across his three innings of work. He generated five swings and misses, and his fastball topped out at 89 mph.
Here are the highlights:
Kershaw underwent multiple surgeries this offseason to address his toe and left knee injuries. While it was initially unknown when Kershaw would be able to return, it’s now clear he’ll be back sooner rather than later as he’s already on rehab assignment.
It will be interesting to see how the Dodgers build Kershaw up since he’s not eligible to return from the 60-day IL for another month. If Kershaw pitched on a once-a-week schedule, he would make another four rehab starts before returning to L.A. as soon as he’s eligible.
Kershaw is just 32 strikeouts away from becoming the 20th player in MLB history to reach 3,000 strikeouts in a career.
