Jason Heyward Scratched From Dodgers Lineup Ahead of Final Spring Training Game

Jason Heyward has been scratched from the Dodgers’ lineup on Tuesday ahead of their final spring training game against the Los Angeles Angels. The Dodgers say it was due to lower back tightness.

Heyward was replaced by Chris Taylor in the lineup. Taylor will be in left field, with Teoscar Hernández moving over to right field. Here’s the new updated lineup for the Dodgers:

Heyward figures to be an everyday fixture in the Dodgers’ lineup against right-handed pitching.

This spring, he’s slashed .250/.276/.429 with one double, two triples and one run batted in.

He went 2-for-6 in Seoul against the San Diego Padres with two runs batted in and three runs scored.
