Mookie Betts Mic’d Up on Dodgers Broadcast Tonight, How to Watch Sunday’s Game

The Dodgers go for the series win over the Padres today and if you’re expecting to flip to SportsNet LA to watch the game with Joe and Orel, you’ll probably be tuning in to yet another rerun of Backstage Dodgers. Tonight’s broadcast is exclusively on ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball. Karl Ravech, Eduardo Perez and David Cone are on the call with game time at 4:08 PM PT.

Pregame coverage starts with “Baseball Tonight: Sunday Night Countdown” at 3 PM.

The special treat for fans is Mookie Betts being mic’d up once again. He’s been on a couple broadcasts before and has brought a few gems to the show.

“Mookie is one of the biggest reasons why mic’d up is so successful,” said analyst Eduardo Perez. “He wore it in Spring Training a few years back with us and it became the talk of baseball.”

You can be 100% certain that Mookie’s recent stint as a shortstop will be a big topic of conversation.

The stage is set for an instant classic as well with the Dodgers sending Julio Urias to the mound against Joe Musgrove of the Padres.
