Outfielder Andy Pages Not Expected to Make Dodgers Debut Until 2025
One of the best bats in the Dodgers farm system may have to wait one more year before making his MLB debut. According to Juan Toribio of MLB.com, fans might not see outfielder Andy Pages until 2025,
Pages will likely start the season in either Double-A Tulsa or Tiple-A Oklahoma City, but he likely won’t make his debut until at least the 2025 season. He’s a very talented hitter, however, so he could surprise.

Andy Pages, 24, might be the best pure hitter in the entire Dodgers system. In Double-AA in 2022, he hit 26 home runs with a .468 slugging percentage in 132 games. A classic slugger, he strikes out well more than he walks, but his extra-base hit rate more than makes up for it.
The right-handed slugger had a solid start to 2023 with a .907 OPS in 34 games—however, surgery to repair a torn labrum sidelined Pages for the remainder of the year.
Shoulder surgeries can be tough to come back from, as it routinely takes more than one year for the hitter to recover full strength in the shoulder. Former Dodgers Adrian Gonzalez, Matt Kemp and Cody Bellinger all had significant shoulder surgeries with lengthy recoveries.
An MLB debut in 2025 might be better for Pages anyway. He could take over for Teoscar Hernández, who the Dodgers signed on a one-year deal earlier this offseason. When he does make his MLB debut, fans can enjoy a smooth power stroke from the right side of the plate.
