Recap: The Dodgers Put Up 5 Home Runs in 10-2 Victory Over The Diamondbacks
The Dodgers went into Monday’s game against the Diamondbacks with momentum from a series victory against the Padres. They put Kenta Maeda on the mound who performed beautifully, though he didn’t need to thanks to the Dodgers’ bats!

The Dodgers got on the board first in the bottom of the 4th thanks to a double by Corey Seager and a 2-run shot by Adrian Gonzalez!

Zack Greinke homers allowed at Dodger Stadium:
2015 (117 1/3 innings): 8 homers
2016 (4 2/3 innings): 5 homers— Dodger Insider (@DodgerInsider) September 6, 2016
That would really be it for the game. The Diamondbacks would get a couple of runs later in the game, but they would quickly be matched by the Dodgers thanks to a wild pitch and an RBI single off the bat of Chase Utley!

The Dodgers would take the victory, 10-2, but the real MVP of the game has to be Kenta Maeda! Though the offense took over the spotlight, he went 6.1 innings giving up only 1 run in 3 hits!

Deeply satisfying game for us. What I am more encouraged by though is our starters performance over the weekend. Between Urias, Hill, DeLeon and Maeda we were given this line over four games: 23.2 IP, 15 hits, 6 ER, 4 BB, 31 K. That is really encouraging to me. That series in Colorado was awful, especially in light of our strong showing the previous weekend against the Cubbies. Either way, we have a strong team that is deep all up and down the 40 man roster, and we are only going to get stronger with guys like Kershaw and Ethier making their way back!
