Shohei Ohtani Dodgers Jerseys Now Available For Pre-Sale

Shohei Ohtani jerseys are now available online for pre-order – a piece of merchandise Dodger fans have been clamoring for since his final game in an Angels uniform.

It appears Ohtani will indeed be wearing number 17 for the Dodgers. The two-way superstar wore the same number in Anaheim.

Now, the biggest star in baseball is a member of the Dodgers, and the $347 price tag on an official jersey is clearly pricing in the hype. Ohtani and the Dodgers agreed to a record-setting $700 million contract over the weekend, keeping him in a number-17 Dodger uniform through 2033.

This signing was more than 10 years in the making, but the Dodgers finally got the job done. The front office has wanted him in Dodger Blue since he was in high school. The third time is the charm.

Ohtani will ostensibly be a member of the Dodgers for the rest of his career, with the hope of delivering multiple World Series championships to Los Angeles. The Dodgers not only offer Ohtani the ability to win now, but marketability as a global brand.
