Spring Training Preview: Dodgers Face D-Backs One Week After Beanball

Following a pair of split-squad games on Sunday, in which the Los Angles Dodgers came away victorious against the Texas Rangers but lost to the San Francisco Giants, they rekindle the fire with the Arizona Diamondbacks Monday in the final week of Spring Training.
The Dodgers hosted the Diamondbacks exactly one week ago in a game that featured four hit batsmen and four ejections (two Diamondbacks pitchers, two from their coaching staff); D-Backs manager Chip Hale later made critical statements regarding the Dodgers.
Taking the mound for the Dodgers is Brett Anderson, who last started a Cactus League game March 19, which was a rough day at the office for the left-hander. He managed to throw just 1.2 innings against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and allowed three runs on seven hits.
Anderson skipped a scheduled start in favor of pithing in a Minor League game and came away pleased with the results. Starting opposite Anderson is Yoan Lopez, who makes his fifth start of the spring for the Diamondbacks.
The young right-hander is 1-1 with an 8.38 ERA and is coming off a start where he allowed five runs on five hits in three innings. The Dodgers lineup again resembles one that could be sent out on Opening Day.
Joc Pederson continues to impress in center field and at the plate, and Jimmy Rollins has provided both power and speed atop the lineup.
