Spring Training Preview: Zack Greinke Squares Off With Jon Lester

The Los Angeles Dodgers had another game end in a tie Tuesday afternoon and they continue their Spring Training schedule by facing the Chicago Cubs Wednesday.
After receiving an annual lubricating injection in his right elbow, pitcher Zack Greinke was held out of the rotation during the first slate of games but is set to makes his 2015 debut against the Cubs.
Greinke looks to begin the new year right where he left off 2014. In his second year as a Dodger, he was named to the National League All-Star team and won his first career Gold Glove. In 32 starts, he finished with a 17-8 record, 2.71 ERA and 1.15 WHIP.
Starting for the Cubs is their top offseason acquisition, Jon Lester. The left-hander impressed in his Cubs debut last week by only allowing one hit in his two innings of work. Of the 24 pitches he threw, only four were called for ball as he also recorded three strikeouts.
Dodgers manager Don Mattingly continues to shuffle the outfield around as he tries to sort out the logjam and get players looks at multipole positions. Yasiel Puig gets the start in center field Wednesday with Joc Pederson sliding over to left; Chris Heisey will play in right field.
While Puig and Pederson should make the opening day lineup, Heisey is still trying to make his mark. So far in the spring, Heisey hasn’t registered a hit and has only gotten on base once.
