The Dodgers and Nationals Game on Saturday Will Be Delayed

This recent stretch of games for the Dodgers really should have you full buying into that old “west coast, best coast” adage. According to reports out of Washington DC, the start of the Dodgers @ Nationals game has been delayed thanks to rain.

About 30 minutes before the scheduled first pitch, the scene was rainy and windy in our nation’s capital. Dodgers broadcaster Tim Neverett caught the wild winds on camera.

As of 12:40 PM PT, no official start time has been announced.

UPDATE

As of 2:30 PM PT, the rain situation remains a problem.

Update II

Flash forward to 4:10 PM PT and it appears that there’s a slight chance of a roughly 5:30ish start time, going off of Neverett’s latest update.

Update III

We now have a game time. SNLA’s Kirsten Watson shared that first pitch will take place at 5:15 PM LA time.

More to come.
