  1. Honorable mention for Julio Urias as MVP of this WS. It was so great to see two shut down ninth innings in this series, especially this last one that that closed the series out.

    1. Based on your argument Alex Wood should be the MVP. He pitched two innings and struck out 3, identical stats as Urias. Plus Wood pitched 2nd and 3rd inning when the Dodgers were down 0-1 under high pressure relief. When Urias came in, Dodgers were already up 2-1, less pressue.

  2. Many of us BELIEVED that this was possible, and we supported the Dodgers throughout this postseason, NEVER giving up hope even down 3-1 in the NLCS. Thank you Dodgers and CONGRATULATIONS for coming through for us!!! We are the 2020 World Series Champions and it feels GREAT!!!

  3. Hey Manny you can kiss my a$$. Julio was rock solid. Great call by Roberts on leaving the hot hand in to finish the 9th and NOT using Jensen in the “high leverage situation”. Was a bit concerned that Turner was out there without a mask. Hope no one else gets infected. Finally a ring!

    1. It wasn’t great call by Quint Roberts, Rays screwed it up. Roberts got lucky. Think about it:

When you sent someone named “Nick Anderson” to pitch Game 7 in the World Series, you’re asking to choke. You never ever send “Nick Anderson” in game winning situation in a Championship Game. The same “Nick Anderson” from Florida choked in 1995 NBA Championship Game by missing 4 straight free throws. That’s just common sense, “Nick Anderson” from Florida will always choke in Championship Game.
