Tweets Of The Night: Dodgers Bats Wake Up, Win 6-2 Over Cubs
The Dodgers have the best record in baseball during the month of August at 19-5, while the Cubs have the worst record at 6-17. After sweeping the Cubs earlier this month, the Dodgers offense looked to wake up after scoring just five runs over the weekend in a are series loss.
Zack Greinke was on the mound tonight and he’s been stellar throughout August with a 4-0 record and sub-one ERA. Cubs starter Jake Arrieta was acquired from the Baltimore Orioles and the Dodgers beat him when they traveled to Camden Yards earlier this year.
While the Dodgers lost their first series in over two months, they had a real opportunity to get back into the win column against the Cubs, who find themselves 20 games below .500.
Let’s get to the tweets of the night.

Don Mattingly was critical about the Dodgers not getting deep into counts against the Red Sox. Looks like Greinke and Puig got the memo.
