Tweets Of The Night: Dodgers Lose Tonight And Series To Red Sox
The Dodgers find themselves in an unfamiliar place as it’ll be the first time since July 7 that they’ll play the rubber game of a series.
After taking game one of the series behind a strong outing from Ricky Nolasco, the Dodgers were done in by one inning yesterday afternoon as Hyun-Jin Ryu gave up four runs in the first inning.
Chris Capuano is on the mound tonight and hasn’t fared too well in his last three starts, while Jake Peavy will pitch for the Red Sox. Peavy has been solid with the Red Sox and is 13-2 with a 2.27 ERA in his career against the Dodgers, including a 6-1 record at Dodger Stadium.
With the series on the line tonight, let’s get to the tweets of the night.
The #Dodgers drop their first series since losing 2 of 3 at Pittsburgh on June 14-16. The 18-series unbeaten streak is a franchise record.
