Tweets Of The Night: Yasiel Puig Homers On One Pitch, Dodgers Win 6-4
Riding a rare losing streak, the Dodgers were back in action this afternoon as Chris Capuano looked to improve on his last start while Jacob Turner was on the mound for the Marlins.
Yasiel Puig arrived to the ballpark, late, to find out that he wasn’t in the lineup because Don Mattingly wanted to give him a breather. After his supposed outburst to the media yesterday, Puig has been criticized for his missteps.
Capuano pitched well in his only start against the Marlins and while the Dodgers lost yesterday, they were able to maintain their 7.5 game lead due to the DBacks loss in Cincinnati.
The Dodgers hadn’t lost two games in a row since June and were looking to avoid a rare three-game losing streak. Here are the tweets of the night against the Marlins.
FINAL: Dodgers 6, Marlins 4. The Dodgers’ two-game losing streak is over.
